Overview
I led and supported a variety of environmental monitoring projects involving lightning detection, weather monitoring, and wind sensing.
These projects combined sensor technologies, wireless communications, telemetry platforms, and field deployments to provide real-time visibility into environmental conditions affecting operations and infrastructure.

Lightning Detection Network
Several projects focused on lightning detection and alerting systems for transportation and commercial environments.
The objective was to provide operators with improved awareness of developing weather conditions while reducing reliance on third-party weather services.

Wind Monitoring
Wind monitoring systems were deployed at multiple locations to provide localized environmental data.
My involvement included equipment installation, communications troubleshooting, telemetry integration, and fabrication of custom mounting hardware for field deployments.

Golf Course Monitoring
One exploratory project evaluated lightning detection technologies for golf course operations.
The objective was to improve situational awareness and weather-related safety decisions for course operators.
Although the project ultimately remained exploratory, it provided valuable insight into environmental sensing technologies, deployment requirements, and operational constraints.
